FALK VAWT
Unique Norwegian technology with global potential
Turn energy costs into value creation
Falk VAWT enables companies to produce their own renewable energy and create long-term economic value. The wind turbines are installed on existing commercial and industrial sites, without encroaching on untouched nature or affecting wildlife.

The technology behind FALK VAWT
FALK VAWT is a patented vertical wind turbine developed for installation close to the consumer - in industrial areas, on commercial buildings and along existing infrastructure. Where conventional turbines require large, open areas, FALK VAWT is designed to operate close to people and buildings: quiet, self-starting at low wind speeds, and with a visual expression adapted to urban surroundings.
Test results are consistent with the research and show stable and efficient power transfer even at low wind speeds. The turbine has very good efficiency - on par with conventional turbines.

Low energy costs
Local energy production delivered directly to the customer - with costs on par with hydropower.
OUR JOURNEY
01
2022 · R&D
Research and development
Between 2019 and 2022, three research and development projects were carried out. The main goal was to evaluate the power potential of the technology concept.
02
2024 · Prototype
Patent and prototype
In early 2024, Falk Energy received patent protection for the VAWT technology and concept, and entered the construction phase for the prototype. The prototype was commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2024.
03
2025 · First Power
Test of the FALK VAWT prototype
The First Power test of the FALK VAWT prototype was carried out in March 2025. Subsequent operation, testing, and documentation have continued on an ongoing basis.
04
2027 · FALK VAWT Pilot
Full-scale pilot
Falk Energy has entered into a pilot agreement with BULK Infrastructure, with the goal of building a full-scale pilot for further testing of power delivery to the data center at Støleheia in Vennesla municipality.
05
2035 · GLOBAL SCALING
Billion-revenue ambition in a global market
From 2035, the ambition is billion-scale revenue in a global market. FALK VAWT will be established as an attractive investment case for players who see the technology's major commercial potential, while we build Norwegian technology industry and create jobs.
